AVALIAÇÃO DA CAPACIDADE FUNCIONAL EM PACIENTES COM ARTROPLASTIA TOTAL DE QUADRIL UTILIZANDO O TIME UP GO - TUG REVISÃO INTEGRATIVA DE LITERATURA

A artroplastia total do quadril (ATQ) é amplamente utilizada no tratamento de doenças degenerativas da articulação coxofemoral, promovendo alívio da dor e melhora funcional. Neste cenário, o teste Timed Up and Go (TUG) destaca-se como uma ferramenta simples, segura e eficaz para avaliar a mobilidade no pós-operatório da ATQ. Este estudo teve como objetivo analisar a aplicabilidade do TUG na avaliação funcional desses pacientes. Foram revisados dez estudos publicados entre 2010 e 2025. Os resultados indicaram que tempos mais altos no TUG estão associados a maior risco de quedas, internação prolongada e pior recuperação funcional, enquanto tempos mais baixos sinalizam alta precoce e melhor desempenho. O teste demonstrou ainda alta confiabilidade, inclusive em fases iniciais do pós-operatório. Conclui-se que o TUG é uma ferramenta clínica útil para monitoramento da recuperação e planejamento da alta hospitalar.
