O PROPÓSITO DESSA PESQUISA � DAR VISIBILIDADE AO ENCONTRO DE SABERES DE QUANDO INDIV�DUOS DE OUTRAS MATRIZES CULTURAIS ACESSAM O CONHECIMENTO CIENT�FICO. POR MEIO DE UMA REVISÃO DE LITERATURA, OBSERVA��ES PARTICIPANTES E APLICA��O DE QUESTION�RIOS FOI POSS�VEL EXTRAIR DADOS PERTINENTES PARA SEUS OBJETIVOS. PERCEBEU-SE QUE H� MUITAS POSSIBILIDADES DE ENRIQUECIMENTO QUANDO CONHECIMENTOS TRADICIONAIS E CI�NCIA DIALOGAREM, MAS PARA ISSO OS PODERES HEGEM�NICOS DO SABER DEVEM SE ABRIR PARA NOVAS E INOVADORAS SOLU��ES DE ENFRENTAMENTO DAS QUEST�ES DA EXIST�NCIA.
