ACERVOS DIGITAIS E HISTÓRIA AMBIENTAL: O CASO DOS DISCENTES DE INICIAÇÃO CIENTÍFICA DO LAHAC

Durante as últimas décadas do século XX, a agricultura brasileira passou por transformações que ampliaram as áreas consideradas férteis. Uma das mudanças mais significativas ocorridas foi a introdução do gênero soja (Glycine max L. Merr.) no Cerrado. Nossa pesquisa é realizada no Laboratório de História Ambiental do Cerrado (LAHAC) com o objetivo de buscar fontes históricas que possibilitem compreender o avanço da fronteira agrícola no Cerrado e na Amazônia entre 1950 e 2014. Uma das tarefas dos discentes bolsistas de iniciação científica nas modalidades CNPq e Institucional da UniEVANGÉLICA, é a pesquisa de fontes históricas em acervos digitais. O objetivo desse estudo é apresentar a nossa experiência de pesquisa no Hemeroteca Digital da Biblioteca Nacional do Rio de Janeiro.
