A Síndrome da Ardência Bucal relacionada a Transtornos Emocionais.

A síndrome da Ardência Bucal (SAB) é uma condição de dor crônica na mucosa oral, caracterizada por sensação persistente de queimação, normalmente sem sinais clínicos aparentes. De etiologia multifatorial, atinge principalmente mulheres entre a quarta e sexta semana de vida e tem associação com fatores hormonais, sistêmicos, neurológicos e emocionais. Com o objetivo de correlacionar a síndrome com possíveis transtornos emocionais, tendo um maior foco na ansiedade e depressão, o estudo foi desenvolvido como uma revisão de literatura detalhada em bases cientificas de pesquisa, dos achados. Os resultados indicam forte relação entre a SAB e sofrimento psicológico, demonstrando que pacientes com maior grau de ansiedade e depressão possuem uma piora dos sintomas e maior resistência ao tratamento, indicando que o mesmo deve ser composto por uma integração médica terapêutica, sendo optada para garantir uma melhora da qualidade de vida do paciente como um todo.
