About the Journal

Focus and Scope

Revista em Saúde is a scientific journal focused on technical and scientific productions in the health area, semiannual in nature with blind peer review, Edited by the Nursing and Dentistry Courses and published by Faculdade Evangélica de Goianésia, aimed at disseminating studies and research that contribute to the development of the areas in which they are inserted. It is intended for the dissemination of original technical-scientific works, unpublished, resulting from scientific research, case reports and/or experience reports. It is open to receiving works by researchers from research, teaching and extension institutions in Brazil and around the world. Its mission is to publish original quality scientific-technical articles and technical notes not submitted to another journal, involving unpublished research and new technologies of interest.

Peer Review Process

The Editorial Committee analyzes the works before submitting them to scientific advice. In this analysis, aspects such as: scope; presentation of the article according to the journal's norms; formulation of the objective clearly; clarity of writing; theoretical foundation; updating the literature review; consistency and accuracy of the methodology; results with significant contribution; discussion of the observed facts compared to those described in the literature; quality of tables and figures; originality and consistency of conclusions. After applying these criteria, if the number of approved works exceeds the monthly publication capacity, the criterion of relative relevance is applied, by which works whose contribution to the advancement of scientific knowledge is considered more significant are approved. This criterion is only applied to works that meet the quality requirements for publication in the journal, but which, due to the high number, cannot all be approved for publication. Rejected papers are returned to the authors and the rest are submitted for analysis by scientific advisors, specialists in the article's technical area. Manuscripts approved for publication are reviewed by at least two experts.

The journal Em Saúde is published in semiannual issues and annual volumes.

This journal offers immediate free access to its content, following the principle that making scientific knowledge freely available to the public provides greater global democratization of knowledge.

As of publication in the journal, authors have copyright and publication rights for their articles without restrictions.

Revista Em Saúde follows the legal precepts of the Creative Commons - Atribuição-NãoComercial 4.0 Internacional.

APCs (Article Processing Fee) and Submission Fee

Científic@ - Multidisciplinary Journal does not charge authors any kind of submission or publication fee.

 

Plagiarism Policy

Articles submitted to Científic@ - Multidisciplinary Journal will be submitted to plagiarism detection tools. Científic@ will immediately reject documents that contain plagiarism or self-plagiarism.

Authors can take the following steps to report plagiarism:

Inform the journal editor where a plagiarized article is published.
Submit original and plagiarized articles with plagiarized part highlighted.

If the evidence of plagiarism is convincing, the editor should arrange for a disciplinary meeting.
Editor of the journal where the plagiarized article must communicate with the editor of the journal containing the original article to correct the issue.
The plagiarist should be asked to provide an explanation.
In case of non-response within the stipulated time or an unsatisfactory explanation, the article must be permanently withdrawn.
The Plagiarist Institutional Person will be notified.
