O PRESENTE TRABALHO TEVE COMO OBJETIVO AVALIAR A RUGOSIDADE SUPERFICIAL DE DIFERENTES TIPOS DE RESINAS COMPOSTAS APÓS CLAREAMENTO DENTAL. FORAM CONFECCIONADOS DEZ CORPOS-DE-PROVA DE CADA TIPO DE RESINA COMPOSTA, FILTEK Z250XT, FILTEK Z350 E BULK-FILL ONE (3M ESPE), COM AUX�LIO DE UMA MATRIZ DE METAL, NAS DIMENS�ES DE 6 MM DE DI�METRO E 3 MM DE ESPESSURA E FOTOPOLIMERIZADOS DE ACORDO COM AS INSTRU��ES DO FABRICANTE. AS AMOSTRAS FORAM COBERTAS COM PERÓXIDO DE HIDROG�NIO A 40%, MANIPULADO SEGUNDO O FABRICANTE, POR 20 MINUTOS. PARA A AVALIA��O DA RUGOSIDADE SUPERFICIAL, ANTES E APÓS APLICA��O DO GEL CLAREADOR, FOI USADO O RUGOS�METRO TR210 (DIGIMESS). OS DADOS FORAM SUBMETIDOS AO TESTE KOLMOGOROV-SMIRNOV PARA AVALIA��O DA SUA NORMALIDADE DE DISTRIBUIÇÃO E COMPARADOS POR MEIO DOS TESTES ANOVA E TUKEY HSD, COM SIGNIFIC�NCIA DE 5%. NÃO HOUVE DIFEREN�A SIGNIFICATIVA NA RUGOSIDADE SUPERFICIAL DOS TR�S TIPOS DE RESINAS COMPOSTAS APÓS O PROCEDIMENTO DE CLAREAMENTO. CONCLUI-SE QUE O CLAREAMENTO NÃO ALTEROU A RUGOSIDADE SUPERFICIAL DAS RESINAS COMPOSTAS AVALIADAS.
