Abstract
SAÚDE E EDUCAÇÃO SÃO CONSTANTEMENTE EVOCADAS QUANDO A QUESTÃO GIRA EM TORNO DAS CONDI��ES DE VIDA. A INTERA��O ENTRE ELAS, INDEPENDENTEMENTE DE ONDE OCORRE - ESCOLA OU SERVI�O DE SAÚDE - CONSTITUI UM CAMINHO IMPORTANTE PARA A CONQUISTA DA QUALIDADE DE VIDA. A CONSTRU��O DE PR�TICAS PEDAGÓGICAS RELACIONADAS A ESSA INTERA��O � UM GRANDE DESAFIO FRENTE �S DEMANDAS QUE AS ESCOLAS ENFRENTAM (CARVALHO, 2015).
A PROMO��O DA SAÚDE NA ESCOLA � UMA PRIORIDADE INTERSETORIAL COMPLEXA POR V�RIAS RAZ�ES. AINDA QUE AS ATIVIDADES DE EDUCAÇÃO PARA A SAÚDE VENHAM SE REALIZANDO DESDE MUITO TEMPO, NA MAIORIA DAS VEZES MANT�M SEU FOCO NA PREVEN��O E NO CONTROLE DE DOEN�AS E MUITO POUCO NA QUESTÃO DA FORMA��O DE ATITUDES SAUD�VEIS DE VIDA, DO DESENVOLVIMENTO PSICOSSOCIAL E DA SAÚDE MENTAL E EM PR�TICAS MAIS EFETIVAS (OPAS, MINIST�RIO DA SA�ŠDE, 2007).
