Abstract
OS PROGRAMAS DE MELHORAMENTO GEN�TICO POSSIBILITARAM A CHEGADA DE NOVAS CULTIVARES, CONTRIBUINDO PARA QUE A PRODUÇÃO DA SOJA TENHA ALCAN�ADO AOS PATAMARES ATUAIS DE PRODUTIVIDADE (SEDIYAMA, TEIXEIRA E REIS, 2005). A UTILIZA��O DE TÉCNICAS E GENÓTIPOS DE ALTO POTENCIAL PRODUTIVO PROPORCIONOU O AUMENTO NA PRODUTIVIDADE DE GR�OS. PORÉM � DE SUMA IMPORT�NCIA PARA OBTER INCREMENTOS NA PRODUTIVIDADE O DESENVOLVIMENTO DE GENÓTIPOS ADAPTADOS �S CONDI��ES EDAFOCLIM�TICAS DE CADA REGI�O (TORRES ET AL., 2014).
A REGI�O CENTRO-NORTE DE GOI�S PODE SER CONSIDERADA UMA �REA DE EXPANS�O DE CULTIVO DA SOJA. EM FUN��O DESSE CEN�RIO � IMPORTANTE A IDENTIFICA��O DE GENÓTIPOS MAIS ADAPTADOS A ESSA REGI�O. PENSANDO NO DESENVOLVIMENTO DE UM PROGRAMA DE MELHORAMENTO, UMA DAS ESTRAT�GIAS PARA GERAR GENÓTIPOS SUPERIORES � REUNIR INFORMA��ES DE SUPERIORIDADE AGRON�MICA E DIVERSIDADE GEN�TICA EM GENÓTIPOS DE SOJA (VAL ET AL., 2014), PARA POSTERIORMENTE GERAR POPULA��ES DE MELHORAMENTO E POSSIBILITAR A IDENTIFICA��O DE GENÓTIPOS MAIS ADAPTADOS.
