Abstract
A TOMOGRAFIA COMPUTADORIZADA DE FEIXE C�NICO (TCFC) TEM SIDO UTILIZADA COMO FERRAMENTA EFICIENTE NA TERAPIA ENDOD�NTICA, MAS APESAR DE SUAS LIMITA��ES INERENTES, A RADIOGRAFIA PERIAPICAL CONTINUA SENDO O SISTEMA DE IMAGEM PADR�O NA ENDODONTIA. O OBJETIVO DESSA PESQUISA FOI COMPARAR A PRECIS�O DA TOMOGRAFIA COMPUTADORIZADA DE FEIXE C�NICO E DA RADIOGRAFIA PERIAPICAL DIGITAL QUANTO � DETEC��O DE LES�ES PERIAPICAIS E FRATURAS RADICULARES EM DENTES TRATADOS ENDODONTICAMENTE.
FORAM SELECIONADOS ONZE INDIV�DUOS COM HISTÓRICO DE DENTES TRATADOS ENDODONTICAMENTE CONCLU�DO H� PELO MENOS 90 DIAS, HAVENDO NECESSIDADE DE EXAME POR IMAGEM PARA PROSERVA��O OU AVALIA��O DO TRATAMENTO ENDOD�NTICO. ESSES INDIV�DUOS FORAM SUBMETIDOS AO EXAME RADIOGR�FICO PERIAPICAL E AO EXAME POR TCFC PARA CONCLUIR O DIAGNÓSTICO.
