Abstract
O CAR�TEROCUPACIONALDEIXA A MOSTRAQUE TANTO OS PROFISSIONAIS ATUANTES QUANTO ACAD�MICOS DE CURSOS DE ODONTOLOGIA PERMANECEM COTIDIANAMENTE EM EXPOSI��O A UMA CONSIDER�VEL GAMA DEFONTES DE RISCO PROVENIENTES DE EQUIPAMENTOS UTILIZADOS NO CONSULTÓRIO ODONTOLÓGICO.
NESTE CONTEXTO, A BUSCA POR ESTUDOS A RESPEITO DE ERGONOMIA TEM SE FIGURADO COMO UMA PREOCUPA��O EM PRATICAMENTE TODOS OS SEGUIMENTOS PROFISSIONAIS, PORÉM TEM RECEBIDO NOT�VEL DESTAQUE EM MEIOS QUE LIDAM ESPEC�FICA E DIRETAMENTE COM AS �REAS DE ATENDIMENTO EM SAÚDE COMO ALEGAM BERRO E NEMR (2004).
