ANÁPOLIS � UMA CIDADE SITUADA NO CENTRO DE GOI�S, LOCALIZADA A APROXIMADAMENTE 60 KM DE GOI�NIA E A 156 KM DE BRAS�LIA, COM ECONOMIA BASTANTE DIVERSIFICADA, A CIDADE � DE GRANDE IMPORT�NCIA PARA A ECONOMIA DO ESTADO E � ALVO DE OLHARES DE EMPRESAS MULTINACIONAIS, PORÉM O CRESCIMENTO DESORDENADO E A FALTA DE PLANEJAMENTO NA CIDADE OCASIONARAM DIVERSOS TRANSTORNOS, ENTRE ELES A OCUPA��O IMPRÓPRIA DE MARGENS DE RIOS, O LAN�AMENTO DE REDES DE ESGOTOS E RES�DUOS SÓLIDOS EM RIOS QUE DÃO ORIGEM A ENCHENTES, ASSOREAMENTO, EROS�ES, FORTES ODORES, E CAUSAM IMPACTOS AMBIENTAIS NEGATIVOS E PROBLEMAS DE SAÚDE. A METODOLOGIA ADOTADA FOI UM ESTUDO DE CASO QUALITATIVO SOBRE A CIDADE DE ANÁPOLIS, COM UMA ANÁLISE DOS PROBLEMAS OCASIONADOS PELA ANTROPIZA��O E OCUPA��O URBANA EM VIRTUDE DA DEFICI�NCIA DE PLANEJAMENTO, COM ENFOQUE NAS �REAS DA BACIA DO RIO DAS ANTAS E DO CÓRREGO �GUA FRIA, ONDE FORAM MAPEADOS E ANALISADOS OS TRECHOS CR�TICOS PARA ENTENDER A ORIGEM DOS PROBLEMAS E PROPOR MEDIDAS PARA SOLU��O DOS MESMOS.
