Abstract

THE TARGET SPOT, WHOSE CAUSATIVE AGENT IS THE CORYNESPORA CASSIICOLA FUNGUS, HAS BEEN AMONG THE MAIN DISEASES OF THE SOYBEAN CULTIVATION, DUE TO ITS HIGH SEVERITY. CHEMICAL CONTROL IS A MEASURE THAT IN MOST CASES IS ECONOMICALLY FEASIBLE AND EFFICIENT TO ASSURE THE QUALITY OF THE PRODUCTION. THE OBJECTIVE OF THIS WORK WAS TO EVALUATE THE EFFICIENCY OF THE PROTECTIVE FUNGICIDE MIXTURE APPLIED IN COMBINATION WITH SYSTEMIC FUNGICIDES TO CONTROL THE TARGET SPOT IN THE SOYBEAN CROP. THE EXPERIMENT WAS CONDUCTED IN THE AGRICULTURAL YEAR OF 2017/2018 USING FIELD CONDITIONS AT VERA CRUZ FARM, LOCATED IN THE CITY OF GOIANSIA - GO. THE EXPERIMENTAL DESIGN WAS A RANDOMIZED BLOCK DESIGN WITH 11 TREATMENTS AND FOUR REPLICATIONS. THE FOLLOWING AGRONOMIC COMPONENTS WERE DETERMINED: DISEASE SEVERITY, NUMBER OF GRAINS IN THE LOWER MIDDLE OF THE PLANT, NUMBER OF GRAINS IN THE UPPER MEDIUM OF THE PLANT, TOTAL NUMBER OF GRAINS PER PLANT AND WEIGHT OF ONE HUNDRED GRAINS. FUNGICIDE APPLICATION PROMOTED LESS DISEASE PROGRESSION IN SOYBEAN, GREATER WEIGHT OF ONE HUNDRED GRAINS AND HIGHER YIELD OF GRAINS. THE TREATMENT KOCIDE® WGD¹ PROVIDED GREATER CONTROL, EVIDENCING THAT THE APPLICATION IN COMBINATION IS AN IMPORTANT TOOL IN THE CONTROL OF THE DISEASE STAIN TARGET. THE TREATMENTS PREVINIL®¹ AND FEZAN® GOLD¹ PROVIDED GAINS IN PRODUCTIVITY IN THE SOYBEAN CROP.
