Abstract

THE SOYBEAN BELONGS TO THE FABACEAE FAMILY, AND CORRESPONDS TO 57.02% OF THE CULTIVATED AREA OF THE COUNTRY. THE DEVELOPMENT OF NEW SOYBEAN CULTIVARS ADAPTED TO THE DIFFERENT EDAPHOCLIMATIC CONDITIONS OF THE COUNTRY, HAS PROVIDED INCREASED PRODUCTION AND THE BRAZILIAN AGRICULTURAL FRONTIER. THE OBJECTIVE OF THIS STUDY WAS TO EVALUATE THE AGRONOMIC AND PRODUCTIVE CHARACTERISTICS OF EMBRAPA-SOJA SOYBEAN ROUNDUP READ (RR) GENOTYPES IN CULTIVATION AND USE VALUE (VCU) FOR CENTRAL-WESTERN BRAZIL. THE WORK WAS CARRIED OUT AT PAI JOS FARM, USING A COMPLETELY RANDOMIZED DESIGN (DIC) WITH PLOTS OF FOUR ROWS WITH FIVE METERS IN LENGTH. 10 COMMERCIAL CULTIVARS AND 22 RR GENOTYPES FROM EMBRAPA WERE USED FOR EVALUATION: BRB 11-02492-4, BRB 34-11201, BRB 34-12902, BRB 45-1046, BRB 45-1407, BRB 45-1453, BRB 45-1828, BRB 45-247, BRB 45-280, BRB 45-407, BRB 45-699, BRB 45-717, BRB 45-720, BRB 45-723, BRB 45-743, BRBMG-12-10301, BRI 12- 25533, BRRR12-69204, BRRR12-78605, BRY 23-0068, BRY 34-10066, BRY 34-10749. AND THE AGRONOMIC TRAITS OF PLANT HEIGHT, HEIGHT OF INSERTION OF THE FIRST POD, LODGING, EVALUATION OF INCIDENCE OF CORYNESPORA CASSIICOLA DISEASE, STAND, WEIGHT OF 100 GRAINS AND GRAZING WERE EVALUATED. IT WAS OBSERVED THAT GENOTYPE BRB 34-12902 HAS THE POTENTIAL TO BE MARKETED AS A NEW CULTIVAR. ALSO, BRB 45-1046 AND BRRR12-7860 GENOTYPES MAY BE RELEASED AS TOLERANT TO CORYNESPORA CASSIICOLA.
