Abstract

WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF DEFORESTATION OF THE CERRADO FOR AGRICULTURAL EXPANSION, IT BECOMES ESSENTIAL THE PROPAGATION OF NATIVE SPECIES FOR A CONTROL OF THIS BIOME. THE OBJECTIVE OF THE STUDY WAS THE INITIAL USE OF CERRADO LITTLE CASHEW, ANARCARDIUM OTHONIANUM, WITH THE USE OF SEEDS AND CUTTINGS AND DIFFERENT TYPES OF SUBSTRATES. THREE GREENHOUSE STAGE EXPERIMENTS WERE CARRIED OUT, AND THE FIRST ONE EVALUATED DIFFERENT SUBSTRATES FOR THE PROPAGATION OF LITTLE CASHEW WITH EIGHT TREATMENTS T 1 - TROPSTRATO COMMERCIAL SUBSTRATE; T 2 - SAND; T 3 - SAND AND COMMERCIAL SUBSTRATE TROPSTRATO; T 4 - BOVINE SAND AND MANURE; T 5 - SOIL; T 6 - SOIL AND COMMERCIAL SUBSTRATE TROPSTRATO; T 7 - SOIL, RICE HUSK AND COMMERCIAL SUBSTRATE TROPSTRATO; T 8 - SOIL, RICE HUSK AND BOVINE MANURE, AND FIVE REPLICATIONS TOTALING 40 PLOTS. IN THE SECOND EXPERIMENT, THREE SUBSTRATE INSERTION POSITIONS WERE EVALUATED IN THREE DIFFERENT SUBSTRATES, WITH THE FOLLOWING PEDUNCLE POSITIONS: A HORIZONTAL PEDUNCULAR, A PEDUNCULAR UPWARD AND A PEDUNCULAR DOWNWARD. THE SUBSTRATES USED IN THIS STUDY WERE: SOIL; SUBSTRATE COMMERCIAL TROP, SAND AND EARTH. FOR THE THIRD EXPERIMENT, THE DIFFERENT VARIETIES (10 CM AND 20 CM) AND THREE SUBSTRATE TYPES (SOIL, SOIL AND COMMERCIAL SUBSTRATE TROPSTRATO ®, SAND AND SOIL) WERE USED. THE CUTTINGS WERE COLLECTED FROM THE LITTLE CASHEW PLANTS IN THE CITY OF GOIANSIA, GOIS. THE BEST SUBSTRATE FOR THE PROPAGATION OF THE LITTLE CASHEW WAS COMPOSED OF SAND AND COMMERCIAL SUBSTRATE. THE DIFFERENT POSITIONS OF SEED INSERTION DID NOT INFLUENCE THE INITIAL DEVELOPMENT OF THE LITTLE CASHEW AND THE ROOTING OF THE CUTTINGS DID NOT OCCUR IN THE TWO SIZES COLLECTED.
