Abstract

THIS WORK WAS TO IDENTIFY THE BEST PHENOLOGICAL PERFORMANCE FOR NON - CORN (ZEA MAYS) COVER WITH NITROGEN FERTILIZER. THE EXPERIMENT WAS CONDUCTED AT FAZENDA SÃO BENTO DE GOIANSIA. THE EXPERIMENTAL DESIGN WAS A RANDOMIZED BLOCK WITH 5 TREATMENTS AND 5 REPLICATES. NITROGEN FERTILIZATION WAS CARRIED OUT AT DIFFERENT STAGES IN THE TREATMENTS, WITH V2 (3 LEAVES OBTAINED), V3 (3 LEAVES CREATED), V4 (5 NEW LEAVES), V4 (6 LEAVES CREATED) AND EVIDENCE WITHOUT APPLICATION OF N. THE MORPHOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS WERE: PLANT HEIGHT, STALK DIAMETER, EAR INSERTION HEIGHT, EAR DIAMETER, NUMBER OF DAUGHTERS IN THE EAR, NUMBER OF GRAINS PER ROW, DRY MASS AND GREEN MASS OF THE PLANT AND EAR. IT WAS VERIFIED THAT THE FERTILIZATION IN THE V5 STAGE WAS THE ONE THAT PRESENTED THE RESULTS OF THE RESULTS IN ALL THE TESTS, BOTH VEGETATIVE AND REPRODUCTIVE. FOR THE DRY AND DRY MASS RESULTS OF THE PLANT AND SPAGHETTI, ONLY THE ACCUMULATED TENSION FOR THE ACCUMULATION OF DRY MASS OF THE PLANT WHEN IT WAS FERTILIZED AT THE V5 DEVELOPMENT STAGE. THUS, FROM THE DATA OBTAINED, THE STAGE IS MORE SUITABLE FOR PERFORMING COVERAGE, THERE IS NO V5 STAGE.
