Abstract

THE OBJECTIVE OF THIS STUDY WAS TO EVALUATE MILK QUALITY IN DIFFERENT PRODUCTION SYSTEMS OVER TWO YEARS (2016 AND 2017) IN GOIANSIA - GO REGION. MILK PRODUCTION UNITS (UPL) WERE CLASSIFIED AND DIVIDED INTO FOUR GROUPS : SPECIALIZED SYSTEM (SE), SPECIALIZED CHANNELED SYSTEM (SEC), SPECIALIZED BUCKET SYSTEM AT THE FOOT (SEBP) AND NON-SPECIALIZED (NE) SYSTEMS. THE INFLUENCE OF EACH PRODUCTION SYSTEM ON MILK QUALITY WAS ANALYZED IN DIFFERENT SEASONS OF THE YEAR. THE EXPERIMENTAL DESIGN WAS COMPLETELY RANDOMIZED IN FACTORIAL ARRANGEMENT, CONSIDERING AS FACTORS THE MONTHS OF THE YEAR (N = 12), PRODUCTION SYSTEMS (N = 4) AND THEIR INTERACTION. THE VARIABLES ANALYZED WERE: SOMATIC CELL COUNT (CCS), TOTAL BACTERIAL COUNT (CBT), CRUDE PROTEIN (CP) AND FAT (GOR). IN RELATION TO GOR AND PB THE CBT AND CCS THE SE MAINTAINED THE BEST PERCENTAGES DURING THE SEASONS. THE SEASONS INFLUENCED THE VARIABLES ANALYZED IN NE SYSTEMS. IT WAS CONCLUDED THAT THE SYSTEM WITH A HIGHER TECHNOLOGICAL LEVEL OF PRODUCTION WAS THE ONE THAT BEST STOOD OUT, CONSEQUENTLY THE LOWER PRODUCTION SYSTEMS WERE INFLUENCED BY THE VARIABLES OF THE DIFFERENT SEASONS OF THE YEAR.
