Abstract

THE PRESENT WORK HAS AS ITS THEME THE OPTIMIZATION OF SOLAR ENERGY GENERATION, WHERE THE OBJECTIVE IS TO CARRY OUT AN ANALYSIS OF TWO SYSTEMS THAT USE PHOTOVOLTAIC PLATES, ONE OF THE MODELS WAS DESIGNED IN THE TRADITIONAL MODEL USING ANGLE PATTERNS AND PLATE ORIENTATION BASED ON THE BANK OF CRESESB DATA, AND SIMULTANEOUSLY A SECOND MODEL WAS AUTOMATED WITH THE HELP OF THE ARDUINO PROTOTYPING PLATFORM, USING SERVO MOTORS THAT ALLOW MOVEMENT BOTH VERTICALLY AND HORIZONTALLY, ALLOWING THE SYSTEM TO ALWAYS SEEK THE POSITION WITH THE HIGHEST INCIDENCE OF SUNLIGHT. DATA ANALYSIS WAS PERFORMED BY COLLECTING THE VOLTAGE AND CURRENT VALUES €‹€‹GENERATED IN BOTH PROTOTYPES, BASED ON THESE VALUES, THE GENERATED POWER OF THE SYSTEMS WAS CALCULATED AS A FUNCTION OF THE TIME OF USE. FROM THE RESULTS OBTAINED IN THE TESTS, IT CAN BE VERIFIED THAT THERE WAS AN INCREASE IN THE YIELD OF THE AUTOMATED PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEM COMPARED TO THE FIXED SYSTEM, THUS VALIDATING ITS USE.
