IN THE PRESENT WORK, A DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF A DIDACTIC WORKBENCH WAS CARRIED OUT WITH RESOURCES TO DEVELOP PRACTICAL ACTIVITIES ON THE STUDY AND SIMULATION OF VIBRATORY UNBALANCE PHENOMENA THROUGH THE ANALYSIS OF VIBRATION FREQUENCIES. THE SYSTEM CONSISTS OF A BENCH WITH A MOTOR FIXED ON A BASE, WHOSE AXIS IS COUPLED TO A ROTOR THAT CAN BE UNBALANCED, THROUGH THE INSERTION OF MASSES, ALLOWING SIMULATION OF FAILURES. WITH THE BENCH IT WAS POSSIBLE TO ANALYZE THE VIBRATIONS FROM THE UNBALANCE OF MASSES AND THE CONSEQUENCES TO THE EQUIPMENT DUE TO THE GENERATED CENTRIFUGAL FORCES. FOR THIS, TESTS AND STUDIES WERE CARRIED OUT IN THE LABORATORY WITH THE AID OF ADVANCED INSTRUMENTATION FOR VIBRATION COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS, USING THE SKF @PTITUDE ANALYST SOFTWARE. THROUGH THE VIBRATION DATA OBTAINED, IT WAS POSSIBLE TO CONCLUDE THAT CHANGES IN VELOCITY AND MASS PARAMETERS IMPACTED VIBRATION VALUES.
