CONSEQUÊNCIAS DA REABILITAÇÃO PULMONAR AMBULATORIAL NA FUNÇÃO PULMONAR E QUALIDADE DE VIDA EM PACIENTES COM DOENÇA PULMONAR OBSTRUTIVA CRÔNICA: UMA REVISÃO INTEGRATIVA

INTRODUÇÃO: A doença pulmonar obstrutiva crônica (DPOC) é uma condição caracterizada pela limitação contínua do fluxo de ar acompanhada de obstrução progressiva das vias aéreas. A reabilitação pulmonar (RP) ambulatorial baseia-se em terapias específicas, para melhora do quadro do paciente, influenciando sua função pulmonar e qualidade de vida. OBJETIVO: Demonstrar os efeitos da reabilitação pulmonar ambulatorial na função pulmonar e qualidade de vida em pacientes com DPOC. MÉTODO: A partir do objetivo, foram escolhidos 5 artigos originais os quais foram selecionados através de uma busca nas bases de dados PubMed (Public Medline) e SciELO (Scientific Electronic Library Online) que foram encontrados utilizando o operador boleano “and”, valendo da utilização dos Descritores em Ciência da Saúde (DeCS) “DPOC”, “Reabilitação Pulmonar” e “Qualidade de Vida”. RESULTADOS: A rotina de exercícios através da reabilitação pulmonar demonstrou melhoras principalmente na qualidade de vida dos pacientes através de questionários, com divergência dos achados na função pulmonar da amostragem. CONCLUSÕES: é evidente que a RP ambulatorial possui papel importante no tratamento da DPOC, podendo ser observado através de questionários, escalas e na função pulmonar, porém não se pode levar como fato estabelecido
