O presente trabalho descreve o desenvolvimento do projeto UNIVET Podcast, idealizado com o objetivo de investigar o potencial do formato podcast como ferramenta de divulgação científica e de apoio pedagógico no curso de Medicina Veterinária. Ao longo do semestre, foram produzidos oito episódios: um piloto e sete temáticos, com a participação de médicos-veterinários especialistas e estudantes envolvidos em estágios ou projetos correlatos. Os temas contemplaram biotecnologia da reprodução, cólica equina, estabilização de emergências, medicina felina, odontologia equina, saúde pública e tecnologia da bovinocultura de leite.
Os resultados apontaram engajamento significativo, com 1.129 visualizações no YouTube, 46 reproduções no Spotify e entre 13 e 54 interações por episódio no Instagram. Observou-se maior repercussão nos episódios de caráter técnico, enquanto o piloto foi especialmente valorizado pelos estudantes.
Conclui-se que o Podcast se mostrou uma ferramenta eficaz de ensino-aprendizagem e divulgação científica, com potencial de continuidade e expansão em futuras edições
