Objective: This study consists of a literature review with the aim of analyzing the importance of care during pregnancy, especially with regard to the interdisciplinary role. Methods: The research was carried out through a bibliographic survey, with publications between the years 2017 and 2024. Results and Discussion: The results indicate that each trimester of pregnancy requires specific care: in the first, invasive procedures should be avoided due to fetal formation; in the second, it is possible to perform treatments more safely; in the third, only urgent procedures should be performed, due to discomfort and potential risk to childbirth. Conclusion: It is concluded that the quality of prenatal care is directly related to the integrated and humanized performance of the professionals involved.
