DEFINIÇÃO DE ÁREAS PRIORITÁRIAS PARA RESTAURAÇÃO FLORESTAL NA BACIA HIDROGRÁFICA DO ALTO CURSO DO RIO SANTO ANASTÁCIO
Palavras-chave:Watershed, Ecological, Restoration, Priority areas
Nowadays, the watershed of the High Course of the Santo Anastácio River is responsible for the water supply of 30% of Presidente Prudente city’s population. With a total area of 197 km²m, the hydrographic basin covers parto of the municipalities of Presidente Prudente, Anhumas, Álvares Machado, Pirapozinho and Regente Feijó. Considering the importance of the river to Presidente Prudente and aiming the hydric safety for the next generations, the present work aims to define criteria that identify priority areas for ecological restoration in the hydrographic basin of the Upper Rio Course Santo Anastacio, taking into account physical activities and occupancy of the study area, to elaborate a proposal map that presents the areas at different levels of priority.
In a Workshop on Ecological Restoration held on April 18 and 19, 2017, a participatory dynamic was held with the formation of groups composed of professionals in areas related to water resources and the environment. The aim of the dynamics was that the groups, with maps of declivity, pedology, geomorphology, land use, rural properties, granted grants, permanent preservation areas and micro-basins, establish values of comparative importance between information, ranging from 1 to 9). With all the maps compared and the values assigned and tabulated, calculate the average values, use all groups for each class in each map. With this result, a multi-criteria table was generated to identify potential sites for ecological restoration.
